To play a match, you have to select all the pictures in order (ball, flag,
shoe, shirt, pitch, face) and enter a number for them, then confirm every
selection with Ret...only then you'll be able to select "Go!". I'll
explain...
Ball: it's the game speed, try a value between 2 and 9
Flag: detail level, I think... 0-1
Shoe: difficulty level     1-99
Shirt: I dunno...
Pitch: if you want to see the intro with a "quick lap" of the field

Face: your shirt number     2-11
So you click on the ball, choose a number between 2 and 9 and hit Ret, then
you choose the flag, choose a number between 0 and 1 and hit Ret...when
you've finished you click on Go! and the game starts...if you make a mistake
("Brrrrt!") youst click on Clr and re-enter EVERYTHING FROM THE BEGINNING
(AAAARGH! Terribly silly menu!).
Hope you'll be alble to make it work...luckily with Football Champ they have
improved the interface.
